You mentioned in a previous post the need for a powerhead to help maintain a siphon in the overflow. I was wondering

1) Where would the powerhead be placed?

2) If a Rio 600 the minimum you'ld suggest or could a smaller Rio pump be used?

Thanks,

Curtis

Note I have a DIY wet/dry setup and I'm CS90 as the overflow.

We recommend using the Aqua Lifter pump. This is an air pump that sits outside the tank either on top of the overflow box or on the aquarium stand. Another option is to use a rejuvenation venturi pump like the Rio 600RV, but this pump will need to be inside the tank or sump.
