To whom it may concern,
I have been using a CPR CS50 for about only 2 weeks now. When I got home from work, I noticed that the sump was pretty empty. So i started filling it up but it would keep draining. I didn't pay attention and I keep filling up the sump then when I looked at the main tank, it was filled to the rim. Then I checked the rio 600 (yes i'm using the rmended one) and there was air in the tube and in the "C" siphon. I disconnected the airline from the overflow and immediately I heard air in the sump and when I covered the hose it had a strong suction. Then I noticed that there was algae in the top part of the "C". I took a toothpick and cleared out the nipple and that was the problem. However, there is still algae all over the top and air bubbles get stuck on it. How do I clean it out?
Thanks for the time and help.

| Remove the box from the tank and soak it upside down in white vinegar and warm water. Allow to soak for an hour or two and the algae will break down. Rinse the overflow thoroughly and place it back on the tank. |
